The Pro Sports Scene in Charlotte moves from Charlotte Motor Speedway where Martin Truex, Jr. won Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race to Bank of America Stadium as the Eagles take on the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium.

The two teams have met 10 times with the Eagles winning six times, but the Panthers won the most important game between the two teams in 2003 when they beat the Eagles in the NFC Championship game in Philadelphia. Both teams are 4-1 and lead their respective conferences in the NFC. The Eagles in the east, and Carolina in the west.

These two teams last met in 2015 in Charlotte with the Panthers winning the game, 27-16.

Carson Wentz is playing his first game against Carolina and is coming off last Sunday’s win over Arizona where he threw four touchdown passes. The last Eagles quarterback to throw four touchdown passes in a game was Michael Vick in 2010 at Washington.

I expect the Eagles to fall in nail-biting fashion by a score of 27-20.
